I have a small problem that I hope someone can help with. When I select and
copy for a web page, I can not paste it into a word document. I can copy and
paste witjhin the word document - from one part to another. But not from the
something put onto the clipboard from outside ...

does a pc actually have to be 'switched on' and running (it is still plugged
into the mains electricity of course)  for the 'microsoft windows defender'
to do a spyware check if its timed to operate at say three oclock in the
morning?

I just received as a Christmas gift, a set of 2.4 GHz wireless security

and an intel 82801AA controller hub and a AC97 audio adapter with windows ME
version on it . When I play music, it goes too fast (+/- 2 times) .

I'm helping a friend who is using a WinME computer running with 319 MB
