My wife's pc has WinME.  Also a FAT32 formatted hard drive.  I want to
re-format a NTFS formatted external USB hard drive to FAT32, and need
instruction on how to do that.
I know that WinME can't read and write to NTFS, so want to reformat the

How do ya know if they are on your system. I am using infoworks spyremover

How can i tell if i have a keystroke logger or other malware on my computer.

My dad, who lives far away so I can't check it, has an old ME computer and
says, somehow, has managed to lose his start button.  I imagine that means
he has lost his entire task bar. If I recall, I locked his taskbar the last
time I visited him.

While running avast4.7 Home edition, I have encountered infections in my Win
ME system.
Attempts as instructed by avast to desinfect these files have been
unsuccessful.

I was reading up on the difference between BIOS & CMOS, and think I
now how a grip on it, but I am wondering why the cmos/config program
uses ram instead of rom?
Wouldnt this do away with the necessity of the cmos battery?

I thought PE32 was suppose to be a Windows version of the
Dos IBM Personal Editor.  So, why does it open in a DOS
window and use a DOS icon button in the task bar?
