hi, i am running windows ME, and the msi installer refuses to work. i can't
install anything without an error coming up. i found the Microsoft artical
explaining how to do this, but it doesn't work. i am really desperate now to
fix this problem. does anybody know of another way ...

This is a two-fold issue:
1) I noticed today that all *incoming* emails in Spanish have the accented
vowels and other special characters such as: ¿ ¡ ñ...etc, altered with
little squares and other characters.

My Windows Me computer wont change the bits for my monitor. Right now it is
at an 16-Color mode. I want it at a 32-Bit mode. I went to the monitor
settings, and it wont change the bit.
ANY HELP PLEASE?

I am running a two HDD system. I have XP on the main NTFS formatted disk and
I also have an ex-Laptop HDD with ME on it.
All works fine except I can't get the ME to see the large disk, so cannot
access certain files when I am in ME.

Just dl'd a crap load of Spybot updates, dated 06/20..............may be
'old hat', but, I didn't see anything here in the NG about it.

I was looking at utilities for SATA hard drives, initially for the
possibility of setting them into 3.0Gb/s SATA II mode, but saw other
utilities and got them too. OGT - Diagnostic is one such.
If you let it install to the default location it goes to C:\Analysis. First

So I use the Boot Disk for win98 and it goes to A:>
