Dual Boot for WinME and Win2000?31 Aug 2007 16:16 GMT28
Is dual boot for WinME and Win2000 feasible and/or recommendable for the
home user? I'm almost certain it is feasible, but is it recommendable also?
Ubuntu and WinME don't seem to like each other, at least in my case.
Adding Win2000 would give me additional opportunities I would ...
Updates for AdAware and Spybot31 Aug 2007 04:56 GMT32
After doing the update for AdAware, there was an icon in the systray. I
tried to find a way to stop it from loading in the AdAware program and
nothing. I unticked it in MSCONFIG and it put itself back so I
uninstalled AdAware 2007 and will install the old version.

Unofficial Win ME SP1?29 Aug 2007 00:58 GMT6

Windows ME at http://www.mdgx.com/web.htm#WME.
Does anyone know anything about this SP or have any experience with it?
Is it worth trying, or am I more likely to get myself into trouble by
memory lane28 Aug 2007 16:50 GMT11
Anybody here old enough (Heirloom?) to remember running CP-M? I used to
have a Kaypro with it, and ran WordStar and later Perfect Writer as word
processors. When I hit Save on a 30 page document, I could have a couple
of cups of coffee before the pages were all saved.

Backing it all up27 Aug 2007 15:55 GMT31
Having three C drive failures in just two and a half years requiring me to

wonder if it's possible to copy/backup my entire new C drive to a
comparable slave for switching out when this new primary master ...
