On my Toshiba Satellite 2800 with Windows SE is impossible to drag and drop
files from a floppy or CD-ROM onto the desktop. Nor is it possible to drag
and drop a file on the desktop into a newly created folder on the desktop.

I finally decided I really need to have My Pictures living on my desktop,
but before TweakUI will do the deed it pops up this scary warning:
"Carelessly changing a special folder may render your system unusable.

Start > Run > Open: regedit > Edit > Find > (example) type "Recent" > Press
F3 > Few presses later regedit closes.
No known viruses, etc. Ran Spybot and Ca Anti-Virus.
How do I repair this glitch?
