Someone wanted to change the desktop wallpaper.  What I need to know is why
during a re-start, the old wallpaper appears just before the desktop loads
and then the new wallpaper comes up after all the icons appear.  I've also
lost the ability to uncheck the checkbox on the web tab ...

I gave my stepmother an old computer. The computer originally had Windows 98
on it and upgraded it to XP Home addition.  She recently passed away and we

I have a maybe stupid question, but I really dont know the answer..
I have been running Windows ME for years now with very few issues..
But I just think its time for me to move on to XP..ME is too difficult to find any help or answers for these days.

My problem is this: My TAB button on my keyboard will not move my cursor.

I just upgraded from version 1.4 to 1.5
Problem(s):
1) It takes about 2 minutes to get the Spybot screen loaded before it shows
on the computer screen.

I use Windows Me.   I suspect my current video driver is corrupted.  Do I
need to uninstall it before I download and reinstall a video driver?  Or,
does the new reinstalled video driver automatically replace my old driver?
