I have Win ME and was trying to upgrade and install
Brother's Keeper CD. I got midway of the installation and
the message appeared  that the OLE is in use and need to
restart. Repeatedly, I did the same thing and it stopped

When I am in a variety of programs.....the system will
lock up and freeze when the phone rings....on occasion I
am not able to ctrl-alt-delete and must pull the
plug...ugh!!!!.........any ideas??????

I just got a 64MB Lexar USB JumpDrive,  after contacting

My CD/CDR Drive stopped working the other day affter I
burnt an audio CD. Before this I've had no troubles with
it. Windows ME came preinstalled and for about a year it
worked fine. Now it won't even read a CD in the drive.

I get the following message:
                        BIOS ROM checksum errror
                        No valid FAT32 partition detected
                        Insert system disc & press enter

Coming back from vacation, I found that my two drives
would not accept disks, kept calling for insertion.

I just switched to DSL & since then it has been a

I have a ASUS P3B system. It has Win ME installed and we
cannot see the entire disk size. I have a 4 Gig and an 8
Gig drive however, I can only get windows to recognize 2 +
2 Gig respectivly. I do not think I have a BIOS problem.

When I Tried To Install A Usb Camera It Semms To Lockup
And If I Do CTRL ALT DEL It Shows A Message That States
cmdninst (NOT RESPONDING). So I Tried To Reinstall The
Device And I Just Let It Sit There For About Six Hours

whenever i switch on my ups, the cpu power-on and cd-rom
drive leds flash on momentarily before i've switched on
the cpu. is it usual, or do i've to do something about it-

I bought a wireless optical mouse and enjoyed its stint of
about 3 months.  While i was using it today it just locked

What I was trying to think of I was just reminded of.
