A dos based software used to work with the hardware lock
(dongle)in Windows 98, but it does not work in Windows
2000. I am told that in Win 98 the software could talk
direct to the port (LPT1) where dongle is installed

when i try to access my scanner, i am receiving the error
hppsapp exception 03h in module
kernel32.dll@015f:bff768a5.  Can anyone help me get this
fixed?

I have installed an Adaptec fireconnect 4300 ( Firewire /
1394 ) card.The system sees it and attempts to set it up
but cannot find the driver either on the computer or on my
ME upgrade disk. Any help is appreciated. I have tried to

Hi! I've a problem with my sister's PC. She has recently installed (twice?)
Windows ME on her PC, and, I don't know why,  now she has the folders
Windows and Windows.000 (this one with only few sub-folders). Many programs
are wrong, printer can't install, OE dosen't start.... I want ...

My sister is running windows me. When she shut her computer down the other
day it went to a black screen with yellow stripes. The yellow stripes looked
liked blinds on a window. It only happened once. Any one ever heard of this?

The cd's do not work or recognize disks. On the cevice
manager they did not show up. I got them in device manager
by installing hardware but know canot find drivers.
