My monitor displays a greenish tint. Is it going bad? I purchased a new monitor but it only works if I switch the cables while the computer is already on. The monitor will not display from a cold boot. Do I need a driver?

I have started having problems burning CDs. I get a low HD memory error. I installed a 120 GB HD, but still get the same error. When I check my virtual memory, with Windows controlling, it shows that I have - 19673 MB availible.

i turned my computer on today to find that all desktop icons had disapearred and i had to reboot in safe mode to eventually get them back.i only had the start tab and clock in the taskbar but didnt have access to them.
