My 82 year-old Dad started his Gateway (with ME)last week
and got the following message:
Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media
and Selected Boot Device.

mmtask.tsk error, how do I fix it?

The system does not see it.
Not sure if I lost it when I made a partition to be able
to run Windows 2000 (as an alternative)
Tried removing it -reinstalled with ADD NEW

When restarting my Computer, I get an error message.  It says I
have a memory access violation in kernel32 at
3687:55332924.
