I have 384mb of memory installed. when I start there is
about 200mb available. As I use the computer or just leave
it on the available memory goes down to less than 1mb. How
can I fix this? Thanks

Useing a Gateway Laptop with Me.Upon initialization,or
startup, the system hangs up and freezes before completely
loading.Can only get as far as the Start task bar but then
freezes before acess to the various fetures. I would like

Why is it that my Volume settings do not appear on start
up even though msconfig claim that they do? My audio
settings say My "SoundMax" digital audio device
is "enabled but inactive due to an unknown problem".

There is nothing wrong with my floppy drive, which I can
use no problem, the problem is trying to "Send To" Floppy.
I am using Windows ME. I opened the send to folder and
see " 3_Floppy(A:) " I have tried to change this but the

1. Windows reports 256Mb RAM on system.
2. With everything closed except systray and explorer

I am having trouble getting a USB2 card to work properly.
Sometimes, but not always, on startup my laptop shuts down

Just recently I have been receiving an error message when
I try to log on to aol.  The message says "No dial tone
found", but if I press the "talk" button on my wireless

I failed to make a start up disk on floppy disk when we
got our computer and have moved since We got it. Now the
origional is lost. Where can I download a copy to put on
floppy, and straiten my windows out? Does any one know

I have a Samsung HDD, which has been detected in the bios
as a 80GB drive, but Win ME only see's it as a 32GB
drive. Is this a limitation on ME, or is there a utility

Windows Me When loading a CD to read, edit etc, I can't
find it anyhere in my PC. ANother example: I attempted to
laod AOL 9.0 and this also "locks up" my drive. The orange

Anytime I try and use my dvd player/cd player it gives me
the error message MMSYSTEM263. This is not a registered
MCI device. What can I do to fix this.  I went to Control

Upgrading Files on Startup09 Dec 2003 20:25 GMT1
I have Windows Mellinium Edition. Everytime I restart my
computer I get a black screen saying that Windows could
not upgrade Files %1 to %2 and to press any key to
