can't get my cd writer to format disks in windows explorer.29 Dec 2003 11:34 GMT1
I have an acer cd writer 20x10x40, and I can't get the
drive to formatt CDRW disks when I am in windows explorer.
I have tried two different UDF readers veritas being one f
them. Any help would be of greatly help.

I recently re-installed the ME operating system because of
a lock-up problem (Gateway assisted me on the 9500
laptop). While reinstalling the software I also installed
the "Easy CD Creator" that came with the machine.  I had

Is there any way for Windows ME to recognize more than 1
GIG of RAM? Currently I am running 512 and want to add
another 512 but ME does not run well with anything over 1
GIG. Does anyone know a way around this?

I have Compaq Presario 7000 computer with Windoes ME, with 256 MB
memory.  Memory type is pc2100 DDR 266 mgz.  Computer has two slots
with 128mb memory stick in each slot!
Recently i noticed, while computer was fully running with all

right, i've just stuck a new hard drive in my comp, a
slave drive attatched to the second connector on the strip
attached to my first hd. all jumper settings correct. i've
partitioned it, changing to it in fdisk, creating an
