Hello:  I have just purchased Microsofts "Wireless Optical Mouse"
And it moves quite erratically.  It is not smooth at all, and doesn't go
where I want it to, unless I move it VERY slowly, then it works properly,
but not at higher speeds.

I reformatted my hard drive and after reinstalling all of
the soft ware, my USB ports are gone. They are not showing
up in the device manager and install hardware goes through
the motions of installing the drivers, but nothing

I'd like to assign a drive letter to my external tape
drive.
Device Manager mentions a software called Direct Tape
Access that would do that - would give me access to

Can i use Sata 150 hard drive's with windows me
if so how do i install ME from a clean reload.

modem disappears from the device manager after a reboot of
the computer.  I have to go and remove the wdm modem
(can't remember what it is called) thing which is in the
device manager at the bottom of the tree.  I do a refresh

please can anyone help me with theses error messages on
start up........can't find the problem.

I purchased a used sony DRU-120A cd/dvd.  I installed it and the pc
recognizes it as drive letter E.  When I put a cd in this and go to windows
explorer and click on drive E:, it tells me to insert a cd into the drive.
The cd is spinning in the drive.  Is this a bad drive, am I ...

Dell does not have a replacement in stock.  Bought a new
generic fan and connected it directly to one of the PS
connectors rather than the motherboard as before.  Now

I have Windows ME and was given a Microsoft Wireless
Optical mouse Model 1008, 1013. The supplied CD will not
recognize Windows ME. Any ideas how to load this or do I
have to return the mouse?
