I have a Sony DDU1621 DVD-ROM Drive that has worked for
about a year.  Yesterday when I inserted a CD-ROM to
install a new program (TurboTax), I got the following
error messages:

Is there anyway to transfer my cassette tapes onto my
computer in order to make them into CD's

Is there a description of the yellow question mark in the
device tree? Also, Why is the a device shown as 'other'?

What do I need to do besides downloading and saving my
personal files, address's, and web pages..and making a
start-up copy?  

My computer is stuck on safe mode and I can't get out of
it!  My background doesn't come up nor does my start menu.
I've tried everything except wiping out the whole system
and I'm not sure how or if I should do that.  Any help

What is the 'sysdll.reg' file.  I have started getting a
registry error message when starting up the PC - 'Cannot
import the sysdll.reg.  Error opening file'.

I installed a PCI USB card, Windows ME picked it up right
away, installed the drivers and everything looks fine, but
as soon as i plug something in it stops. Pressing
CTRL+ALT+DEL reveals thats msgsrv32.dll stopped

Need help..
Is there a way to know wich USB I have installed, 1.1 or 2.0?

I have the usual PC with Floppy disk drive and CD Rom
drive. Recently I also installed a DVD drive. When I
installed Win TV, the dreaded blue screen and error
messages appeared. To help restore I put in a startup
