My ME has dropped the cd-rom drive, like it was never
there. Cannot find a ME restart disk on Microsoft site...
what can I do??

I had installed Win2k and changed one of my partitions to
NTFS. However then I had to remove win2k and install
winME. Now my NTFS partition is lost. Is there any way to
get it back??

Well... I guess it isnt really WORKING, but I put CDs in
it, it starts to scan them (blinks green), and then after
10 seconds it just keeps blinking orange. It is a MITSUMI
CR-48X5TE with the latest drivers, it hasnt been working

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, I have just installed Win
ME on a on PC and since then the keyboard doesnt always
seems to work.  It will work then Ill reboot and it stops
working, i then need to turn the PC off and reboot again,

after installing a cdrw in a compaq deskpro with windows
millenium edition the "new hardware found" message
appeared, took a lot for the database to load, after that
the computer just frezze, now everytime i try to connect

I am running WINME on both my desktop and laptop.  All my
drivers are updated and patches installed.  Both systems
show my WD 120GB USB 2.0 hard drive in the device manager,
however, neither show the drive in My Computer or Windows

Windows ME detected the hard drive as mass storage device.
However it counld not find USBSTOR.SYS or USBNT*.SYS

My USB is not working as I am trying to install a digital
Camera for a download. The messages are "file USBNTMAP.SYS
not found" and "file usbstor.sys not found"
I tried to direct the search from the origianl windows '98

when ever i restart it before all the icons show up on the
desk top it shows this error message between explorer (not
internet explorer) and this other program called WDMN.DLL
after that it's just a screen with a mouse pointer and

This happened immediately after replacing the celeron 433
cpu with a pentium III 600E.Reinstalled soundblaster

I need some help getting my system restore to work. I can
not create or use restore points. It tells me that it
fails and i should try restarting my computer(does not
resolve the problem). I am using pccillion 2003(virus

I need some advice please.  I just purchased a PNY 256 MB
USB flash drive to transfer data easily.  
Scratch "easily". It works fine with my desktop running
Windows 2000NT.  But when I try to access the data on my

I can not open (eject) cd from the drive.  I have tried
from control panel/ e drive/ right click/eject and still
won't open. I have restarted the computer and still no
luck.
