does anyone know how to turn on the sound for the modem so
that you can hear the dial tone,dilaing, and connection in
Windows ME?

I'm trying to install a second HDD on my mother's computer.  She had a
single 10Gig drive.  I added a new 80Gig drive.  When I run fdisk, the 80Gig
drive only shows up as 8Gig.  While perusing WinME sites, I found this is a
common error an older bios would make.

I have Windows ME and I want to install more than 512 but
when I do windows will not boot. It does fine with 512
though. Is there a fix for ME or do I have to upgrade?

I am getting this message "Spool 32 has caused an error in
sysfmon.dll" when I turn my computer on? What can I do to
fix it? I also get "Spool 32 has caused an error in
kernel.dll". Are they related? Any help will be

I have suddenly become unable to print. Device mgr - USB
has a "?" next to it. Uninstalled printer and USB.
Rebooted, installation of USB halts with mssg about cannot
locate"rndismpm.sys" Is this a file I can download and

I'm trying to install iPod on my Windows ME, When the iPod
install wizard prompts me to connect the iPod, Windows
pops up and says "Windows Updating Hardware list" and has

i have windows me on my computer and the freezes just
started up about 4 months ago more than before..when i
boot up in mornings it freezes...and at nite sometimes it
will freeze on boot down..the system is cleaned each nite

I run wondows ME and for some reason the floppy drive can
no longer be detected.  When trying to access the drive,
the light comes on on the drive and it "whirs" as if trying

How do I figure out what type of monitor I have?  I have
looked at the back tag, and it doesn't give me
information.  I need to install the correct information
into my display properties and all I know is that it's a

found. Iexplore will now close. I can not access the
