this new fax/modem was installed sucessfully acording to
windows there are no conflicts.  There is a telephone/fax
connected as well.  When dialing, the computer is silent,
but the modem sound and dialing can be heard on the phone,

I have just upgraded to Windows ME and now my cdrom is not
working.  I can not find my CD drive anywhere on my

when i try to install the lexmark x4270, i continuly get
this error message saying - setup32 - setup 32 has caused
an error in MCHOOK.DLL , HKGBL 95.DLL , KERNEL 32.DLL.

when booting Compaq pc comes up with reconizing new
hardware.  sister in law swears nothing was tried to be

I have tried to start scandisk now for 2 hours and it
just keeps restarting.  I have closed all programs
