I have read most of the submissions and replies on this problem, and have
done just about everything suggested in the Win ME forum, as well as in Win
Updates forum, such as:
Redownload IE 6 SP1 files

Looking for guidance here as I accept this may not be an IE issue.  I have a
home network connecting through a DLink router to ADSL.  All worked fne until

The dreaded error message caused by Msnmsvc in MSNIAWA.DLL appearing w/in
 5 min of loading after sign in to MSN 9. When I try to sign out at end of
session,
 my modem stays on. Only way to close is to shut down pc or reboot system.

My computer has restored to an early point because it wasn't connecting to
the Server..but now, i have noticed AVG7 is not in the Boot-up  sequence,
and it used to have, like, 10 entries in msconfig.exe , but now is not there
..NOTHING

How do I scan for available networks and where do I enter the network key??

savvy) did some editing in my system registry and since
then my internet explorer has stopped working. I have a

I upgraded from IE5.5 SP2 to IE6 SP1 in the spring of 2003.  At that
time, I asked this question but none of the suggestions worked.  I
thought I'd try again now because I recently discovered a similar
problem that seems related somehow.

My Windows ME cannot be connected to the Internet (SBCYahoo) because the
internet provider cannot find the modem.  There was no problem until I moved
the computer to a different location.  What could be wrong?
