Can someone help please.
I have long advocated the use of the free on line AV scans (does no harm to
double check now and again) but today I can't access any of them. Tried Panda,
trend, Bitdifender and Kaspersky to no avail.

When I open IE 6, it says it is 'detecting proxy settings' and it takes half
a minute before the page loads.
How do I get rid of that message?

How do I change the icons so they reflect the actual websites instead of the
blue E on a piece of paper?

I have several contacts that now send me attachments that
are in the EML format. I have not been able to open them.
I have tried various different programs to open the files;
but have the same results--they will not open.

We recently upgraded to PeoplePC accelerated verson and keep getting all
kinds of error. We get the blue screen, get logged off the internet and other
miscellanoeus errors. Is there a compatibility problem with ME and PeoplePC
accelerated?

is there some one who can tell me how to resolve the problem that i am having?
