does any one else hate windows me. ive had more problems
in many different programs since i started using me

I am a computer tech and have a problem i run into
frequently.  When i work on a computer with no sound and
i go to multimedia>audio under both sound playback and
sound recording the default device is greyed out and

I thougt my drivers ahd been corrupted so I downloaded new
drivers. That di not fix problem. I them bought usb sound
device from creative still no sound after installing.
I then began expermineting with ME. I found a system info

In a bid to make my computer a little bit quicker I tried
uninstalling a lot of rubbish I had gathered.  
Consequently I have lost all the sound so when I try to
play music etc I hear nothing?

I tried to update to media player 7 but I was informed
that unless I installed update "Q290700" I would not be
able to use the restore facility. Have tried to
find "Q290700" on downloads but no joy anyone know what

when i try to download .jpg or .jpeg files from a website
or even my msn email with "save picture as", i'm offered
only art or bmp formats.  i just downloaded the explorer
6.0 and the problem remains the same.  is this a windows

Can anyone advise how to chg the length from 60 seconds on
the sound recorder? I'm trying to convert audio cassettes
to CD but can't get enough length to record a song. Or do
I need another program do this?

i installed a cdrw drive and my media player wont recgnize
it when i click on (copy to cd) it says there is no
writeable drive ! any one got a clue?????
