file "DirectX9b-KB825116-x86-ENU.exe", which fixes the

I have lost volume control on my machine(running ME). I
suspect this is reason I cannot hear sound but am not
certain. Another telltale sign is that the system cannot

friend are suffering the wrath of the non-opening WMP. If
I reinstall it, it will work maybe 2 times, then it just
stops opening all together. I really need help.
