Hi there.  I am hoping that someone out there will be able
to help me with at least one of these problems.  First, I
have WinME and can't seem to download .wav files.  I
really need to because I am a medical transcriptionist and

When opening MPEG or WMV files IE has traditionally
defaulted to Windows Media Viewer. Recently, the browser
seems to be directing many of these to Quicktime.  I don't
know how to reset the default.  Can anyone advise?

Also, couldn't download VML (vector graphic rendering)
which I supect is maybe critical. did a system restore
because of the meesage popping up: AUPDATE.EXE file is

Currently, all my .wav & .mp3 files display in windows
explorer as 'winamp media files' so by just looking at the
details I can't tell if it's a .wav or an .mp3.
How can I re-identify them so that windows explorer will

I can no longer hear any sounds when using my computer.  I

delete the files off of my computer.  I ran a fix it
program this weekend and now when I try to delete the mps
