Hi, Is Windows M Player 9 compatible with Windows ME.  I
have WMP 7 right now, but it doesn't seem to work.

My computer is running without sound. When i run DrWATSON,
diagnosis says :
"The file mmsystem.dll is not listed in the [boot]
section of system.ini.  Multimedia services may be

I backed up my files (mp3) on a data cd with my adaptec
burner but I now cannot figure out how to get them back on
my new hard drive. My Media 9 player will play them but it
will not copy them.  What can I do

Why can't I move or delete a dat'index' file out of my
Temp Folder? I think from reading the post from Daniel,
that it's really a Windows Player file.
Does anyone know what caused it to be downloaded there?

I am sitting here with a troublesome sound problem.
Motherboard MS-6323 with onboard sound + Windows ME.
I have installed ME, and the Via 4in1 drivers. Finally tried installing the
sound drivers and it is Hell !!!.

My apt. lost power while I was online and upon restarting my pc,
my sound no longer worked.  All the device drivers are there and I went thru
the audio troubleshooter with no luck.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the
driver with no luck.
