Why all of a sudden doesn't anything work. You have these websites that have peoples complaints but don't offer any fix. It used to work, now you've put in updates and it doesn't. Gee Thanks for the UPDATES.

I keep getting the same 1 mb update everytime I'm told to update the player. I update and it is back everytime. I have seen this problem before and a solution but can't remember it. Could someone help me here? My system is;

When ever I update windows, and there is a windows media update, I lose my audio. Usually after I restart my computer, the audio begins to play again. This time it hasn't. I can't get it to play in windows media 9, or in my interactual dvd.
