Not simply a DNS problem.  Won't ping any IP addresses outside the computer
itself.
127.0.0.1 is OK.
The local IP address is OK.

Hello again, I`m having some trouble with my old Windows 98 based laptop.
(I know its not ME but they are basically the same and there does not seem
to be a 98.network_web group on my server.)
The machine can connet to normal websites (google.com, microsoft.com etc)

Is Windows Me actually compatible with wireless netorking?  I have a
friend with two computers both running Windows Me.  The main computer is
directly connected to a Linksys WRT54G wireless router.  The second
computer is some distance away from the main computer so to bridge the

When I'm copying files across the network from one windows computer to
another, I sometimes get this error.  It happens on both then command prompt
and explorer, anything that uses windows file shares (eg it does not affect

Trying to setup a simple p-p network between an XP Pro and ME machine, the ME
machine does not allow me to set a static IP address. I can't enter any
digits. Any ideas how to remedy this?
