(If someone can point me to a more appropriate newsgroup for this question, if there is one, I'd appreciate it.) I have two machines, a wireless laptop and a CAT-5'ed PC, behind a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B router/NAT on a cable broadband connection.

Rookie question: is there some way to enable the small double-screen icon on the bottom right corner (task bar) to show my NIC's broadband Internet connectivity and activity? This should be a simple thing but I've looked "everywhere." Help!

On a Win ME system, when I start Internet Explorer, I get a message "lexplore has caused error in kernel32.dll", and Internel Explorer shuts down. I tried the following: -Updated IE to IE6 Update 1. Problem persists.
