Ok
I have a home pc connected to the internet via a wireless router...
I then got a laptop that i configured to access the internet via the
same wireless router

 Is there a way that a windows ME machine is able to join two subnets
as in 192.168.100.36 and 192.168.0.36?  If so, how?

Im using a hotspot type of service provided by my landlord.
So far Ive:
1. Disabled share files
2. Obtained firewall

The situation is this: I have a PC with cable modem connected via a
long inverted or crossed over, I don't know how this UTP cable layout
is called, it's when both endings are different and you use them to
connect 2 PC. Anyway, this cable goes to my moms PC and she enjoys

i have 2 pc's connected to a adsl modem/router. both with win me
the 1 gets though to the internet ok
the other cannot find any web pages, not even the router settings page,
