Trouble upgrading from 95 to ME31 Aug 2003 21:09 GMT1
I need help installing Windows Me. I have 95.  Everything
seemed to be istalling fine, until the first shut down and
restart. It restarted and should have been running the
hardware detection, but it hangs up.  I have tried

When I go to turn off my computer I no longer get the
message "It is now safe to turn off your computer" and
even though I have "shutdown" chosen it will restart if
you don't manually shut it off.  When you go to turn it

i have no windows Me disk and have an windows xp disk and
want to install xp... do i need to uninstall me first?? or
just put the xp disk in and auto run it....if i need to
uninstall me..how do i do that without a disk...?
