Hey y'all,
I've been at home from school for the last 3 months and
without internet access.  So the first thing i did when i
got back to school was to get the new windows update.  

OK SO I WENT TO MS WEBSITE TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS PROBLEM

I elected to re-install Windows ME.  The re-install was
successful but upon restarting the computer, the system
hangs with the message: Please wait while set completes
the configuration files.

I'm using WinME and when I went to restart the PC I

I'm trying to create an ME startup disk
If keeps asking me for ebd files.  There are none on the
hard drive (and i don't have the ME CD).
These files are supposedly on Fat32ebd.exe.

I deleted a few Hewllett-Packard drivers (HP dll's) and
after a restart ME came up in safe mode, the mouse cursor
disappeared, an error msg "ptsnoop has caused an error in
mmsystem.dll, ptsnoop will now close" comes up.
