I want to upgrade ME to XP-Pro with a clean install
(complete reformat).  I believe that I need to change my
BIOS to have the boot sequence look at my CD before C
drive.  Is this right and if so can you tell me how to

Tried to install a lexmark x5150 all in one printer,
scanner and copier. Software installed fine, scanner
worked fine but windows me was never able to identify the
printer. returned the printer to the store and exchange it

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?  The
messages I get during boot are "Memory Access Violation in
Module Kernel32 at 833:85584739", with 4 different address
ranges - 7992:59953139, 1856:21361432, and 2885:85582634.

somehow the yahoo emblem is now showing in the right hand

When ever my system is running slow, I hit the ctrl-alt-del
buttons and I see that "rundll32" is running 2 or 3 or 4
times.  When I close them down, everything speeds up and
returns to normal.  What is rundll32 and how can i prevent

recently, when running some windows updates, i received a
message about not being able to run system restore unless
i "obtain fix q290700 from windows update".  i cannot find
how to obtain this fix.  can anyone tell me how, please.
