PC starts in the wrong screen!05 Oct 2003 15:21 GMT3
    Upon booting up, my PC opens in the My Computer
screen rather than on my Desktop like it used to. Is there
any way I can remedy this?

     Lately, whilst my pc is booting up, I get the
following two error messages;
 1) iedll has caused an error in IEDLL.EXE IEDLL will now
close.

i am installing ME on a presario 1210 laptop and i
reformatted and when i try to boot it keeps
saying "invalid system disk" The floppy works fine but the
cd rom is not working. Any suggestions??

When tring to star up usaly an error appears or if I can
get past that it sometimes(often )  freezes during set.  
Ihav tried to restore to different date but it doesn't
help.  If I do factory restore I realize I will lose all

Somehow I cannot find a PRODUCT KEY to get the computer
going now that I have formatted the hard drive and
reinstalled the original WindowsME software... any
suggestions?  Where can I get a product key?

I was cleaning up the computer with Norton System works.  
I pressed the wrong button and when I noticed I stopped
the process midway.  Now When I start the computer I only
get as far as the backgroud. NO ICONS!! NO startup menu!!
