When I try and start-up windows me I get an error
messages that says VMN(12)+ 00004C3C Error: OE : 0028 :

Using WinME for some time now, I lately have problems with
starting the machine. Occasionally the startup fails and
the machine freezes somewhere in one of the startup steps,
but if the startup is successful, it often is only so

I used to be able access Hibernate and Standby on my 'ShutDown' menu - they
are now missing.
Any ideas on how I can get them back?

What do I do about this, do I try to recovery disk?  My
fear is that I will delete all files I currently have on
the system that have NOT been back-up.  Is ther another
fix??  Is there a Millenium CD that I can get to just add
