then says to immeditely back-up my data and to replace my
hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent.

I had a problem with explorer.exe and had to reinstall windows me,
windows came preinstalled on the hd I only have a floppy to reinstall
windows
I think this is called "windows embedded"?.
