Can anyone help me, I recently recieved a used computer
for my business, and after deleting the personal files
already stored on the hard drive I attempted to restart
the PC. I then recieved an error message stating to

I accidently removed the shortcut to the desktop from the
taskbar. Is there some way to get it back on the taskbar?

I am having problems after installing the Security Update
CD I get a Error message on startup as follows Could not
locate file 'content\win9x\winme\WMEfinish.inf.'
I tried to get rid of this by installing again but get the

I own a Windows 98SE and was wondering is it possible to

Is there a way on boot up to have the system just boot up all the way without asking me
for that senseless password each time? I think its asking for a network password. You can
type in anything and it then finishes the start up process and goes then to the desktop. I
sure hope ...

I recently was sold a used computer that was meant to have
windows 98.  Windows XP was put on and it ran fine.  I
tried putting on Windows ME,however, and it said i had the
wrong version of Windows ME and i must contact the

I have a hp 6830 which I did fdisk and format on.
I cannnot get the hp recovery disks to reinstall me.
I have win98 fe and was able to get a good install on
this machine. Now when I put the hp recovery disk in

I saved the my original Win 98 system files when I
installed Win ME a year ago and have had no occasion to
unload Win ME since.  How can I delete them?  I see no
reason to keep them at this point.
