I have a copy of ME update and '98 full copy.  The ME
can't be installed without '98 being installed first.  
The '98 disc is corrupt so I can't get it to install.  
Someone once showed me how to put in ME and when it asks

The C:\Windows directory has been damaged, but not beyond the point
where a simple undelete could repair things. Unfortunately, I don't
know all the file names and must guess the first letter of each file.
