I am running Windows ME.  Whenever I add a program,
Windows puts an icon on my desktop and one in my taskbar.  
I would like to get rid of some of the taskbar icons.  How

I have WinME with a EliteGroup ECS K7VMM+ motherboard
with S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR graphics chips.
When I changed my hard drives around, it seems as if the graphics drivers
revert to the default settings, giving me 256 colors and 640x480

A friend of mine ask me to sell their computer on eBay and so the first thing
I did was format the HD. I am now  using the Dell Restore CD to reinstall
WinME. The only problem is that the sticker on the side of the case is torn
right at the last 2 digits of the Product Key!!! ...

I've got bagqwh.exe running in program manager in WinMe, and it's in the

After clicking, icons start coming up but then message box appears - "Windows
has caused an error in (kernel32.dll) and will be shut down.   Win98 worked
fine before upgrade and I could access the Control Panel.   Hardware includes
a Cyrix P266 CPU,  PCI 1MB Video card, GP Sound ...

My church receives used computers which we clean up and give to non-profit
organizations.
Most of the time we get just the hardware - no software, no install or
recovery disks etc.
