I would be greatful for some help. My windows me computer recently booted up part way looked like it was starting to load windows and then came up with a blue screen specifying stop error STOP 0x000007B etc etc. Inaccessible_Boot_Device.

My questions concern the CDROM of which my computer has two. In Device Manager they are listed as an Asus and an LGCombo. The former being the older installation and ordered first. In the BIOS Boot Sector I observe that the LGCombo is shown.

I've tried installing explorer 6 from the update site and a CD with no success. After downloading, the installation ends by listing the files that could not be installed, which in this case is just about every explorere file, including the browser, etc. Any help is most ...

regret the dealy to post reply web access is ltd now. ok finally i was able to create a bootable win me cd. the system transfered with c:\windows\command\sys c:. i restated and ended up with win me logo screen, clears, black screen with message press ctrl+alt+del to restart comp. ...

while using the ultimate boot cd to transfer dos system to another HD unfortunately somewhere i messed up this one and i haven't been able to come back from it. i inadvertently sys'd my pc. now it's booting to the UBCD's Freecom dos. what do i do to "bring it back" to Win ME ...
