Is the boot part of the system damaged in some way when I get this message
DISK BOOT FAILURE.INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

I wanted to reinstall WMe. I did a scandisk before reinstallation & received
error msg :
- Scandisk encountered a data error while reading FAT on drive C. This error
prevents Scandisk from fixing this drive.
