When ever my system is running slow, I hit the ctrl-alt-del
buttons and I see that "rundll32" is running 2 or 3 or 4
times. When I close them down, everything speeds up and
returns to normal. What is rundll32 and how can i prevent

by accident a folder was deleted. in that folder important
documents and files were kept. i want to recover that

Have tried repeatedly since November, but in UPDATE
process- at 81% complete am told "unable to Install all
Components. Close all Programs and try again". I have
nothing OPEN.

When I right click on the start button to open win
explorer it opens, but none of the files show up on the
left side. It's just blank. The start menu still shows up
on the right. How can I correct this? Thanks.Wags

I can't get Task Scheduler to run in Microsoft ME. It
just tries to run internet explorer. I re-installed
mstask.exe, but still have the same problem

I did a disk defragment on a Windows ME computer, which
everything seemed to have gone well, but after it was
complete I noticed a huge decrease in hard drive space.
And I also sometimes get a completely blue screen saying I

I hope someone out there can help me. I am a 70+ senior
citizen and do not know much about this but do know when
it is not runnng properly. Whenever I boot up I get the
message WJView Error and that the file cannot be found.

scandisk/defrag won't do their thing. I've ended all
programs except explorer/systray. I've turned off screen
saver.
Anybody got some hints?
