Intell 82815 Graphics Controller 4.12.01.2593 reported as
unsigned and won't be installed.  In the 'Driver Signature
Notification' window, the 'Advanced' button to force
installation is unobtainable.  Anyone know the whereabouts

Out of curiosity has any one by any  chance got a Packard
Bell machine,if so it seems that they have somehow managed
to disable the standard windows restore in favour of thier
own smart restore which is not so smart at all in fact it

When I try to search for a file (using Start|Search|For
Files or Folders...), nothing happens when I hit the

System restore created an archive of a virus, which
originally crashed explorer and disabled my virus

Windows ME freezes when booting up every other time. It
boots to desktop, I may see arrow or hourglass cursor. I
can move the mouse, but cannot click on anything or use
keyboard. The only thing that works is to key CTRL-ALT-DEL

I get this message. I think it means that windows updater
is not working. Indeed I think that my windows updater
never works. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Have used the Microsoft Knowledge base article
290700usam.exenow to attempt to patch problems with system
restore on Windows ME. I have had no success with this
patch and system restore continues to either be turned off

can anyone provide instructions for removing prior

I need help getting automatic checkpoint creation working.
I can create a checkpoint and on Updates one is created but my system does
not create the daily idle session checkpoints.  I applied the Smgr.dll
update version 4.90.0.3003 which flushed _Restore and created a checkpoint,

I keep getting a blank (all gray) left pane in Windows
Explorer when using the folders view.  All other views
work appropriately.  Any idea how to fix it?
