Last night I cleaned out temp files etc and ran ScanDisk
to verify things were ok.  Went into Safe Mode to be
careful.  Then ran the System Tools Disk Defragmentor.

When I try to run system restore I get a message that I have to restart my

I am working on a PC with Win Me OS for a friend.  It has
many, many viruses which I am cleaning up.  I want to
