Whenever I type Msconfig in run it comes up with System Configuration screen
and closes on its own with in a second.
Please help !!

Setup was unable to install all components for 6.0.  I have tried many things
to get it to work including what is listed under Microsoft "You Cannot Finish
Installing or Upgrading Internet Explorer", but nothing seems to work.  So
would really just like to get rid of 6.0 ...

I have a virus that cannot be removed with my antivirus program (AVG) in the
System folder (_Restore\Temp\...).. I had this problem before and got the
suggestion off of here to go to my C drive properties and reduce the amount
of space alotted to system restore(under file system) ...

I have winme oem pre_installed how can I get a CD-ROM with WinME  installed
for backing up purposes -- also scheduled task is not responding---How can I
resolve this ?

Whilst trying to defrag drive c, i get an error message
saying i need to scandisk to fix errors first before
defrag.Error DEFRAG0004. I have scanned disk in normal
mode, both standard & thorough, also in safe mode, both

I aborted a backup of My Documents folders/files due to low disk space.  I am
dangerously low and have freed up all the space possible using Disk Cleanup
and other System Tools.  The backup itself is already 1.06GB large.  Is there
anyway I can delete the aborted backup and ...

Pop-ups take over when I go into IE. Running WinME.  
Norton indicates no virus.  When I try to install updates
from MS, I get "cannot install updates, missing

no system restore option.

I followed instructions to reinstall windows installer- it
worked- thank you! Now, still cannot run norton 2005,
although followed all instructions to remove, redownload
and reinstall. I have 2 new programs in add/remove
