I lost the ability to resize windows.  I run a hp pavilion 6735 running
quickbooks pro and winword

Ive stopped all the running processes using ctrl-alt-delete except the
systray and explorer.
When I run scan disk it stalls at cluster 158561.
Ive run this in safemode before but am curious to know why its not completing.

I (or rather Trend Micro scanner) found a virus in the _RESTORE folder. I
disabled System restore, cleaned the virus and re-enabled it. Wanting to make
a fresh start, I also renamed and deleted (booting from a diskette) the
_RESTORE folder.

Desperately trying to find the "send to any folder" utility (just that
one, not any of the other bits'n'bobs) for Windows ME. Internet
searches have been fruitless so far. If anyone has any pointers, I
would be VERY grateful.

I saw a post mentioning that this tool made one's
system "run like when it was new".  I went 'ga ga' when I
read "runs like new".  I did the download and wanted
feedback prior to installing and running the program.

I've cleared about 100 entries in the registry with Jv16 this morning .Now
that I'm trying to clear the remaing 200
unused entries, JV16 does an endless search !
Could it have broken a chain of records ?

I see how this program could seriously muck up a system
and I shall be held harmless for any statements that
should follow (disclaimer statement) <G>.

New update available, seems to have fixed the immunize
issue that left two items unblocked.  Tried it a few times
and it consistently shows 1988 blocked.

ScanDisk running after an improper shutdown sometimes locks during its
execution .
How can I fix this problem ? Can I run it  booting with EBD or something
else ?

I am running  Windows XP (home) and want to start the computer in its
NETBIOS modes that I can change to boot from CD-ROM. I thought it was F2,
but this does not seem to be correct, I would appreciate any help.

I Have ME.  Error message reads - "Scandisc has restarted
10 times because Windows or another program has been
writing to this drive.  Omitting some programs may enable
Scandisc to finish earlier."
