I found zilch in the MSKB about this. Often scandisk
will report this as a corrected error, usually on C:
The drive contained an error in its FSInfoSector.
 Resolution: Repair the error

Among the Scheduled Tasks I see: "PC Health Scheduler for Data Collection".
Sometimes, I see it scheduled to run every 10 minutes; other times,  I see
it scheduled to run every 6 hours or so.
In the settings panel of that scheduled task, it says:

When I run Disc Cleanup from the Start menu, it shows 0 megs in Temp files
and in TIFs.. Even though there are a few Megs there. It also fails to
delete them when I hit OK.
How might I repair this system tool?

Keep getting auto update for KB885492 (Security update for MP9).
Update seems to proceed without problems but a couple of days later auto
update downloads a fresh update. Belarc tells me the update verifies

add/remove programs installed windows components not showing up ever time i
click the button it goes through with no errors so im not sure what the
problems is but it comes up and no windows installed programs ever come up.

WHEN I WENT TO THE ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS IN THE CONTROLL PANEL THERE WERE NO
PROGRAMS LISTED.  HOW DO I GET THEM BACK? ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?
ALSO I AM EXPERIECING FREEZE UPS AND WHEN I DO A CONTROL ALT DELETE, IT SAYS

I tried to do a system restore because an installation of an upgrage to
windows Media Player 9 did not finish properly.  Didnt completely install,
and because it was not installed I could not uninstall it.  Anyway now I
have a bigger problem.
