I got a nasty virus, and had to reformat and reinstall Win Me. Ever since I
get an error code Start Error KRNL386.exe every time i try to use my cd
rom/re drive. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Thanks Mike, Mart.  PPS and MOV files have always played previously,
but as I use them infrequently, I can't tell when the problem may have
started.  As Apple QuickTime tends to take over my PC, I have used
QuickTime Alternative for the last 2/3 years with no problems.

My WinME has now started telling me that all my .MOV and .PPS files aren't valid applications.  Help Support can't give me any clues
so can anyone advise how I can correct this situation?   I'm beginning to get rather tired of WinME !

I accidentlly deleted my outlook express, a friend recommended that I try
system restore which I did, anyhow I found outlook express back in my control
panel, but every time I click on it, a message comes up saying:
MSIMN has caused an error in COMCTL32DLL and MSIMN will now close.

I am increasingly often being informed by my ME O/S that "Msinm has caused an error in GDI.EXE...."  Neither the Close or Ignore
options in the dialogue box which follows actually work, and up comes the BSOD.
The most recent occurrence was as I put an address into a new email ...
