DEFRAG & SCAN EVEY FEW MONTHS. SUDDENLY MESSAGE SAYS DENIED WINDOWS IS
RUNNING. EVERY THING IS SHUT DOWN-EX: SCREENSAVER ECT. SCANDISK SAYS  CANNOT
FIX ERRORS WINDOWS DENIED ACCESS?/OR SIMILIAR MESSAGE CAN'T REMEMBER EXACTLY

Accidentally removed system tools, multimedia and all other files from the
Windows Setup tab, under Add/Remove programs.
When I try to reinstall, it comes up with a number of missing files, and
prompts that I insert the setup disk, which is no longer any good.

I'm trying to burn a DVD for a slide show. I want the display sequence to
follow the alphabetic sort-order of image names. Unfortunately, the program
I'm using (Adaptec/Roxio) puts the files on the DVD in the order in which
the file names appear in the folder's hard-drive directory ...
