I wonder if someone can tell me if the automatic playlists work on the Media
devices like the Roku M1000. And also if WMA lossless files work.
I have a Linksys Media device and I'm not satisified with it for (at least)
those two reasons.

I am trying to share folders using WMC and I keep receiving Access Denied. I
checked to make sure I have access to the folders. Can anyone shed some light
on this. The DSM 320 is nice in theory but it is getting frustrating getting
it to work properly.

When I start WMC, no devices are available for me to add. My comp;uter
(obviously by the post) is on the network. My soundbridge is as well, as when
I start the other computer with iTunes, it can play songs off that. Am I
missing a setup step on WMC, or possibly the soundbridge?

Can anyone tell me how to "push" media out from my XP computer to either the
TV or stereo, utiliizing the device DVMC-DA1 that is connected to my PC via

Anyway... Is there a way of getting WMC to send the folder hierachies to the
DSM rather than just the lowest level folder?
The DLink server seems to do it.

I know some people say they have gotten this to connect with media connect,

the same functionality from other computers in the house. How can I connect
from another PC client to my WMC hosting PC to stream music? Is there a PC
client that will connect to a WMC host machine? ...

Wondering if anyone ran into this problem with the DSM-320
"FF" works but when you continue playing the movie it will reset and start
the movie form the beginning.

Can anyone from Microsoft comment on the future support of the WMA11B
for WMC? The device seems to use UPnP, but there have been no firmware
updates from Linksys for this PoS.

Installed WMC on MCE 2005 PC to run Roku M1000.  That works fine, but now MCE
doesn't work; won't connect to PC, and the WMC "add device" window pops up in
MCE before telling me error 002002.  Reinstalled MCE; no good.  Can't figure
out how to turn WMC off. THoughts?
