Hi, I have a Roku M500 connected up to my system (wireless) running XPSP2, WMP 10 and WMC. My music library is in its own (c:\music) directory and is indexed and used without a problem by WMP. The Roku plays music from my library without a problem.

| how do i tell WMC to pass a stream to a dsm-320? | 25 Feb 2005 22:40 GMT | 1 |
i have a dsm-320 and use WMC to server it. All works well. I want to create a stream using windows media encoder and have the dsm-320 play it. I would then control this stream with other software I've written. The way the stream works is that it just streams whatever is coming out ...

In reading this newsgroup over the past couple of weeks, I have found that there are very few posts concerning devices other than the D-Link MediaLounge DMS-320 According to Microsoft, there are two other devices that support WMC: the

managed that wmc works properly. My MP3s are played. But the main reason for me to buy that mp101 was to play my fav. radio station on my stereo. Now that radio station is not a "true" internet radio, that can be reached

| Who do I contact when DSM-320 stops playing a song in the middle? | 22 Feb 2005 06:07 GMT | 4 |
I have a DSM-320. I have a particular song that I ripped from my own CD into WMA VBR format. It plays on everything perfectly except the DSM-320. On the DSM-320, it plays until somewhere in the middle, where it simply stops playing the file (as if it reached the end).

| File Formats | 22 Feb 2005 03:15 GMT | 3 |
why does WMC not send files it doesn't support to a media device? The DSM-320 supports Mpeg4 encoded quicktime formats but WMC won't pass those files to it. I think the media device should decide what can and can't be played, Not WMC.

| DSM-320 firmware 1.05 | 21 Feb 2005 08:13 GMT | 7 |
I just downloaded DSM-320 firmware 1.05 and DSM software version 1.03 and I am disappointed. DSM still won't play .wmv files, won't play DRM protected music, and still hasn't fixed the issue of WMC not playing video correctly. When using WMC to view a video and you fast forward, ...

| DSM-320 playback problems | 19 Feb 2005 09:41 GMT | 11 |
When playing a sequence of songs (playlist or folder selection), my dsm-320 is hanging up on protected content. It will play protected files from start to finish, but will not move to another song once the protected .wma file is completed. One thing I have noticed is that the ...

| D-Link UK Customer service - you fed up too? | 16 Feb 2005 23:25 GMT | 2 |
I don't think I've ever come across such abysmal customer service in my life. However, I have discovered a few things that may be of use to anyone struggling with a DSM-320 and/or D-Link support in the UK. I'm still running firmware 1.03eu. This is the latest available in the
