I'm absolutely mystified at this ridiculous yet infuriating problem.  I have
a Memorex Thumbdrive 256MB, my friend a SanDisk Mini Cruzer 256 MB.  Both
register fine in XP as removable drives.  I have thousands of songs all over

WMC was automatically installed as a recommended update.  I don't have nor
will I have any of these devices connected to my computer network.  How do I
uninstall Windows Media Connect?  I can't find any option or documentation on
how to do this.  HELP!!!

I agree with the others in these posts ... I have a dedicated server for all
my media files and I can't use Windows Media Connect. I would just as soon
convert all my videos to WMV, but I'm keeping them in Xvid.

I have been burning CDs and recently when I burn them after track number 12
or so the song is there in full effect but there is also fuzz that plays too.

of devices that will run under WMC.  I am running Windows XP.  The EW500 runs
fine with the software from HP, but will not run with WMC.  The device does

The problem I have is that ITues/Wondows does not start any more ever since

Still can't get WMC to run.  Instead all it does is open a dialog and start a
progress bar that goes all the way across then resets and starts again.  Has
anyone found the answer to this yet?

I have just got a Linksys WMLS11B, and do not like music match.  I installed
WMC, and it recognizes the device just fine, but the box wont connect right.
It shows the Media connect server...but wont go any further.  No browse, no
playlist, etc

Does anyone else have this problem?  I can play MPG's file and even
click the fast forward button but once I do this, if I attempt to stop
the FF, (hit FF again or hit play) it starts the file again from the
