I meet the following problem :
On PC side, I am trying to use IWMDMStorageControl::Insert method
in the mode when it uses "Operational Interface". I tried to
compile MS sample application - wmdmapp.exe , but files are not downloading

Following on from my previous post and Alans answer, I purchased the Roku
Soundbridge M1000 and used WMC to play my WMA Lossless files, and I must say
I'm very pleased with it.
I've now tried the internet radio part of the Roku and can't get it working.

Overall Media connect delivers on the promises made, although a lot depends
on the client device implementation.

I have a Pavillion Notebook (about 2 years old), windows xp sp 2, all updates
are installed and up to date.  I'm using windows media player 10.  I can
access some websites such as my yahoo and hear/view the streaming media
there, but I cannot listen to files on callertunes.com ...

Why does WMP 10 need to convert my audio files when I sync with my iRiver
iFP-899? If I use the iRiver app, there's no conversion done. Is there some
setting... somewhere... where I tell it the sync destination format???

What does WMC offer you over just having a device that can access a file
system over a network? With a media reciever device that could do this then
we wouldn't need a server!
Have I missed something?

couple of months ago i was trying to find a workaround--in English--to allow
me to use my MCExtender with WMC.  haven't heard anything.   Any updates?

My audio rips were all WMA lossless, which is not supported by my Phillips

transcodes the WMA lossless files into PCM which the Phillips can see and
